Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

An impactful Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) agenda is critical to modern organizations. In addition to helping employees feel supported, listened to, and respected, inclusive companies are more likely to achieve financial target goals and retain talent.

A Europe-based investment group sought to ensure their portfolio of companies were aligned with best practices in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

In-depth assessment and benchmarking

We conducted a full assessment across all portfolio companies to evaluate DEI practices across four pillars: workplace, workforce, community, and marketplace. Each company's DEI program was then assessed against a D&I maturity model. Companies were evaluated against best practices in their industry, and recommendations were made to drive immediate and longer-term impact. Lastly, the provision of a general DEI overview gave senior stakeholders within each company a similar communication and understanding of DEI policies.

Staying ahead of investment trends

With a comprehensive overview of DEI policies and initiatives across the large portfolio of companies, the investment group is equipped for strategic decision-making with regard to its portfolio. Furthermore, equipping investors with an understanding of the state of DEI in their investments highlights the investment group's ability to stay aligned with key and emerging investor priorities in the future.
